SHR laser hair removal is the latest service that we have incorporated into Make Up & Dreams.
That is why today we are going to raise the most frequent doubts, as well as post and waxing advice. All this will make it easier to understand how technology works to get the most out of it.
Our SHR works with a wavelength ranging from 690 to 960 nm, which makes it effective on all skin types, including tanned skin.
It combines the SHR technology of the diode laser with xenon light to achieve maximum efficiency, and thanks to its burst system and its refrigerated head, hair removal becomes a painless experience.
The ultimate hair removal machine, the natural evolution of the diode laser.
For your peace of mind, our team complies with all legal requirements and is endorsed by innovapro.es (a Spanish company based in Murcia.
Care BEFORE THE SESSION:

- Do not sunbathe for 3 days.

THE EFFECTS OF LASER AND ITS EVOLUTION:
If your hair grows again after your laser session, don't worry, since it is completely normal. Don't think it hasn't had an effect. Here you will understand why:
The phase anagen hair is the ideal place to receive a laser hair removal session. It is when the best relationship "amount of melanin / depth of the root" occurs, which is precisely the moment in which the root has the maximum capacity to absorb energy and, consequently, is when the best circumstances exist for it to be maximum. session performance.
For practical purposes, this moment occurs when the stem has not yet emerged above the epidermis and is about to do so.
The percentage of hair in this phase varies from some areas to others. On average, it is usually between a 20% and 30%. In this way, most of the hairs —the remaining 70%— are in the catagen or telogen phase, so they do not meet the appropriate conditions for treatment.
It is that 30% of the hairs in the anagen phase that can fall spontaneously in those two or three weeks from the application of the treatment.
In the next session the process will be repeated, this time with another 30% different (approximately) from the hairs.
That is why the reduction in hair density will be seen progressively by performing different waxing sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
It is very difficult to specify the number of sessions necessary to completely remove the hair from an area. Statistically, and in a very general way in all laser hair removal systems, between 8 and 9 sessions are needed, each session lasting between 6 and 8 weeks. These data are very general since there are different factors such as age, hormonal load and the type of hair, which will influence the number of sessions needed.
Does the laser affect all areas equally?
No. In each session, the reduction in hair density will gradually decrease. However, there are areas where this reduction is more visible than others (for example, in the armpits the results are noticeable from the first session but in other areas, such as arms or facial) results may not be seen until the third or fourth session. . It depends a lot on the color of the hair (if it is darker or lighter), on its density (if it is thicker or finer), on its hormonal load and on whether it is a more or less tanned skin.
Will all my hair fall out in the first session?
No. It is true that sometimes it surprises some users to discover that, a few days after the laser session, hair grows back. Some come to think that the session has not had an effect, that it has been poorly carried out. These ideas can be reinforced when verifying that an indeterminate percentage of them do not fall off until fifteen or twenty days later. Actually, it is not the consequence of a bad application, but it is a perfectly natural effect in this hair removal procedure. This is due to: ASYNCHRONY IN THE HAIR CYCLE: not all the hairs found in the same phase and the ideal phase for the treatment to affect is the anagen phase. THE ROOT OF THE HAIR IS VARIABLE: Depending on the depth of the root, the effect of hair removal will be greater or less. That is why the machine has to be recalibrated according to the evolution that is observed in the rest of the sessions.
What is the difference between the SRH system and other conventional systems?
Our SHR works with a wavelength ranging from 690 to 960 nm, which makes it effective on all skin types, including tanned skin. Combines the SHR technology of the diode laser with xenon light to achieve maximum efficiency. Up to 10 shots per second can be emitted. The increase in temperature, unlike other technologies, is done progressively and cumulatively by making different passes in the same area. The SHR pulses are channeled through the hair but also through the skin, managing to attack the follicle from different directions. And since the head is cooled, the experience is painless.
Is this system better than the others?
It depends on what we call better. There are many effective technologies but as painless as this one, it is already more difficult to find. The SHR combines efficiency and speed, which makes it one of the most efficient systems on the market. Added to the fact that it is painless makes it very attractive. The best thing is always to try a session and feel the experience individually and personally.
